Estonia picks K239 Chunmoo in €239M deal: The rise of K-Defense
The Estonia government has decided to order the South Korean K239 Chunmoo launcher system.
The K239 Chunmoo launcher system is known as the Korean HIMARS.
To date, the countries that have adopted and are operating the K239 are South Korea, the UAE, Poland, Saudi Arabia, and Estonia.

K239 Chunmoo can engage targets at a maximum range of 290 km (180 mi)and enhance survivability through rapid withdrawal after firing (Shoot-and-Scoot).
Why the shift to Korean arms?
South Korea is a country with a highly advanced level of manufacturing technology and outstanding manufacturing production capabilities.
South Korea can produce and deliver weapons at the fastest speed in the world.
Today, Major South Korean weapons exported to date include the K9 self-propelled howitzer and the FA50 fighter jet, with future exports expected to expand to include the KSS-Ⅲ submarine and the KF-21 4.5 generation fighter jet.
